The Pettegrews (Again)

Hi everyone! The Pettegrews came again! It was really fun. The Pettegrews stayed for a week and brought their cat, Gladdy. She is a snow bengal and is so cute! Me and my brother got to have two sleepovers with them, One Friday night and one Sunday night. Camille also stayed there for the whole week except for Saturday night and the other Saturday night (that sounds weird). The Pettegrews, in case you don't know, are James, who is 11, Marjie, who is 8, and Cassian, who is 6. Marjie, Camille and I (yay! Good grammar!) did squishy makeovers on some squishys my mom got for us, and they turned out pretty good. The boys (Holden, James, Cassian and my dad) played a lot of video games. Mostly Cuphead. James also showed me and Holden this book called "Diary of an 8-bit warrior" and it was pretty funny, so theres another book to add to your reading list. If you remember that archeological dig I talked about in the last "The Pettegrews" post, we continued that, but we didn't find much so we decided to close up that dig and put a time capsule there, and then to start a new dig next time the Pettegrews come. We also played two wiffle ball games. Our first teams were the kids and my uncle Paul vs. the rest of the adults. We lost that time. The second time we had uncle Travis on our team once he came, and we won. We ate a LOT of ice cream during the duration of the Pettegrew's stay. On the last day they were here, Cheese (my grandma) made us take photos, and that was the most boring part. Stay safe and stay strong!
