Girl Scout Camp

Hi everyone! This past week was Girl Scout Camp! It was so fun! As some of you might know, I am a Junior in girl scouts, which means that my group and I are the oldest kids in the camp, besides the LIAs and PALs, who help out with the groups.

So here's the thing you have to know about PALs and leaders: They all have camp names, like my two favorite PALs are Rosie and Hippie. The PALs do a thing called the name game, where throughout the week you have to try to find out as many of the PAL's real names as you can. On the last day, all the PALs reveal their real names, Rosie and Hippie are really Amelia and Riley.

My friends June and Dale did carpool with me on the way to and back from camp. Us and our other friend Autumn usually hung out together during camp.

Besides June, Dale, Autumn and I, the other girls in our group were Lucy, Samantha and Juliana. Our Leaders were TLC, Tomato and Bunny.

On Monday our group did flag up and flag down, we made GORP, we went creeking and we played a lot of mothia. Wednesday was my group's cook day. We made pot ironed pizza and smores. They were really good. On Wednesday we also made swaps.

Thursday was late night! Juniors and up got to stay until 7 PM! Before everyone else left, we made friendship bracelets, did minuet to win it games, made more swaps, did a scavenger hunt with Captain Jack, and did an obstacle course. During late night we went creeking for a long time, did Henna tattoos and had pizza.

So its, like, the camp jinx for it to rain on the last day, so of course it did, but only a bit. On Friday each group performed their skits, we traded swaps, and the whole camp pretty much played games until it was time to go.

Girl Scout camp was really fun this year. It's my third year doing it and it's so fun. I definitely recommend it. Stay safe and stay strong!
