At The Races

Hi everyone! So I was going to save this post until after the cross country season was over, but it s been TO LONG sense I posted, and there's really not anything else to post about. I guess I'll just add more pictures to this post over time and try to add videos.

So this is gonna be about my cross country races. We've had three so far. The first one, the fun run, wasn't the most important, I think. We didn't even have bibs. That one was at the flats.

The second race was the JBC, or the John Blaine Classic. That one was at our school, and for me, it's always the best race of the year. But it was even more important this year because this is Mr. Blaine's last year teaching because he's retiring. Mr. Blaine is the best. Oh yeah, also, me and some of my friends got to help set up that race after school on Friday because the race was the next morning. After warmups 8:00, we had to wait through five fifteen minute races until the fifth grade race. Plus, we were screaming "Let's go cougars, let's go!" the whole time. Yeah. But I did get fifth place out of the fifth grade girls, so that was cool. And I got 18th out of fifth and sixth grade girls and boys.

The third race was just yesterday, and we had to get to the flats at 7:30 for warmups. Yup, the flats again for the Isanhart. Most of these pictures are from yesterday, except for the first one and the last two. Camille was at the Isanhart. They just had one race at 8:00. Grades K-6 boys and girls, then they divided it up when we did the podium. Then we got doughnuts and Gatorade at the concession stand.
